Job Description
As an Assistant Project Manager - Construction - New Haven, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting Project Managers throughout all phases of project delivery
- Assisting with project budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking
- Managing RFIs, submittals, and change order logs
- Coordinating subcontractors, consultants, architects, and ownership teams
- Assisting with procurement and contract administration
- Maintaining project schedules and milestone updates
- Tracking project documentation and reporting requirements
- Participating in project meetings and preparing meeting minutes
- Supporting field teams and Superintendents with project coordination
- Monitoring project progress and assisting with issue resolution
- Assisting with project closeout and turnover activities
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders

The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
- 2-5 years of experience in Project Engineering, Project Coordination, or Assistant Project Management
- Understanding of construction processes and project controls
- Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and related software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Desire to grow into a Project Manager role
- Team-oriented mindset and professional attitude
