Job Description
As an Assistant Project Manager - Construction - Manhattan, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting Project Managers throughout all phases of construction
- Assisting with project budgeting, scheduling, and forecasting
- Managing RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Coordinating with subcontractors, vendors, architects, and engineers
- Tracking project progress and maintaining project documentation
- Assisting with procurement and contract administration
- Participating in project meetings and preparing meeting minutes
- Monitoring cost reports and helping maintain budget controls
- Supporting quality control and safety initiatives
- Maintaining project logs and reporting requirements
- Assisting with project closeout and turnover activities
- Building strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- 2-5 years of experience in construction project management, project engineering, or project coordination
- Experience working on commercial, residential, healthcare, hospitality, or mixed-use projects
- Strong understanding of construction processes and documentation
- Knowledge of RFIs, submittals, contracts, and project controls
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Desire to advance into a Project Manager position
