Job Description
As an Assistant Project Manager - Construction - Manhattan, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting Project Managers through all phases of project delivery
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking
- Managing RFIs, submittals, and change order logs
- Coordinating architects, designers, consultants, and subcontractors
- Assisting with procurement and contract administration
- Maintaining project schedules and milestone updates
- Tracking project documentation and reporting requirements
- Participating in client meetings and project coordination calls
- Supporting Superintendents and field teams with daily operations
- Assisting with quality control and project closeout activities
- Monitoring project progress and helping resolve issues
- Building strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders

The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred
- 2-5 years of experience in project coordination, project engineering, or assistant project management
- Experience with luxury residential interior renovations
- Exposure to penthouses, brownstones, duplexes, townhouses, or custom residences
- Strong understanding of construction documentation and project controls
- Knowledge of RFIs, submittals, change orders, and scheduling
- Familiarity with custom millwork, cabinetry, stone, and specialty finishes
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and project management software
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Desire to grow into a Project Manager role
