Assistant Project Manager - Construction - Greenwich

Our client is a premier luxury home builder specializing in ground-up custom homes, estate residences, and architect-driven residential projects throughout Connecticut. Their portfolio includes waterfront estates, custom dream homes, and multi-million-dollar residences featuring exceptional craftsmanship, custom millwork, and high-end finishes.

As an Assistant Project Manager - Construction - Greenwich, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting Project Managers throughout all phases of custom home construction
  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and project cost tracking
  • Managing RFIs, submittals, and change order logs
  • Coordinating architects, designers, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors
  • Assisting with procurement and contract administration
  • Maintaining project schedules and milestone updates
  • Tracking project documentation and reporting requirements
  • Supporting field teams and Superintendents with project coordination
  • Assisting with custom millwork, cabinetry, stone, and specialty finish packages
  • Participating in homeowner and project team meetings
  • Reviewing architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents
  • Monitoring project progress and assisting with issue resolution
  • Supporting project closeout and turnover activities

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience in Project Engineering, Project Coordination, or Assistant Project Management
  • Experience with custom home construction, luxury residential projects, or high-end residential construction
  • Understanding of residential construction from preconstruction through completion
  • Knowledge of RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project controls
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings
  • Exposure to custom millwork, luxury finishes, cabinetry, stonework, and specialty materials
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, or similar construction software
  • Strong attention to detail and desire to build a career in luxury residential construction
