We're seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the successful delivery of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role offers direct exposure to clients, subcontractors, field operations, budgeting, scheduling, and project leadership within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Description

  • Assist Project Managers with planning, execution, and successful delivery of commercial construction projects.
  • Coordinate project documentation, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and closeout packages.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and financial reporting activities.
  • Work closely with superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure project success.
  • Monitor project schedules and help identify solutions to maintain milestones and deadlines.
  • Participate in project meetings and maintain accurate records of project updates and action items.
  • Assist with procurement activities and subcontractor management.
  • Ensure projects adhere to quality, safety, and contractual requirements.
  • Support client communications and help maintain strong customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Contribute to problem-solving efforts and help drive projects to successful completion.

Profile

  • 2+ years of experience in construction project coordination, project engineering, or assistant project management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction processes and project delivery methods.
  • Experience managing project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
