They invest heavily in employee development and provide Assistant Project Managers with direct exposure to project leadership, client interactions, and complex construction challenges. Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience working on complex commercial projects for a general contractor.
Job Description
The Assistant Project Manager - Commercial will:
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing commercial construction projects.
- Support project managers in tracking budgets, schedules, and overall project performance.
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure project alignment.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts and change orders.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly.
- Conduct site visits to ensure compliance with design plans and safety standards.
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the construction team.
- Assist in the procurement of materials and management of vendor relationships.
