This GC is steadily adding to their growing pipeline of work in the Southeast, building commercial projects from Virginia through Florida. With the large amount of work to be done - and more coming in - this client is looking to add a great Assistant Project Manager to their team!Job DescriptionThe successful Assistant Project Manager - Commercial Construction will:Confer with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authorityDirect and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budgetPrepare daily, weekly, monthly schedule to support and preserve the Contract Project ScheduleReview status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as requiredDictate or prepare project reports for management, client, or othersConfer with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problemsTake part and assist with the pre-planning and conceptual phaseDevelop relationships with clients and stakeholders and maintain them moving forwardWork with subcontractors - create and maintain positive relationshipsAssist in developing and maintaining the project scheduleMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
