Assistant Project Manager - Commercial Construction

A well-established commercial general contractor in North Dallas is adding an Assistant Project Manager to its growing team. You'll work alongside experienced project managers on office, retail, and healthcare projects across the Frisco and Collin County area, and you'll get real ownership of your scope from day one.

What You'll Do

- Support project managers on commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout

- Manage submittals, RFIs, and document control

- Help with subcontractor buyout, scopes of work, and change order pricing

- Track budgets, update schedules, and prepare monthly project reports

- Coordinate with superintendents, owners, architects, and engineers

- Lead closeout, including punch lists, warranties, and O&M manuals

What You Bring

- 2+ years of experience as an assistant PM or project engineer with a commercial general contractor

- Solid understanding of construction documents, schedules, and cost tracking

- Strong organization and clear communication with field and office teams

- Working knowledge of Procore or similar project management software

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
