Assistant Construction Project Manager

General Contractor, based in Canton, has been in business for over 30 years. Looking for an Assistant PM to join their team in MA! With decades of client partnerships, mostly negotiated work and repeat clients. Specializing in Occupied Restoration, Adaptive Reuse, and New Development, **Multifamily projects up to $50M** Long-tenured employees, collaborative work environment. The Assistant Construction Project Manager is responsible for:

  • Assisting the Lead PM on projects from start through completion
  • Understanding and implementing construction principles, techniques and procedures
  • Attending weekly project meetings as needed
  • Tracking deliveries of materials & verifying all submittals conform to plans & specifications
  • Collecting subcontractor change requests for review by the PM
  • Completing quantity take-offs as required
  • Punchlists & Project Closeout

The right candidate will have:

  • 2+ years of Assistant Project Manager experience with a Commercial GC
  • (Ideally) has multifamily ground-up experience or occupied rehabs / adaptive reuse
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of building construction means, methods, procedures

The Assistant Project Manager will receive:
