Assistant Project Manager

Due to continued growth, the company is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support multiple projects throughout the City of Chicago. This role provides direct exposure to project management, estimating, subcontractor coordination, and client communication.

Known for repeat business and long-standing client relationships, they offer a collaborative environment where emerging construction professionals can develop into future Project Managers.

Description

• Assist Project Managers with project planning and execution
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams
• Track schedules, budgets, and procurement activities
• Attend owner, architect, and subcontractor meetings
• Support closeout activities and punch list completion

Profile

• 2-5 years of construction experience
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
• Experience with commercial, healthcare, educational, or municipal projects
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in Procore and Microsoft Office
