    The Assistant Program Manager will support the Create the Future Program, which includes approximately 90 business and IT initiatives.
    This role will work closely with Initiative Owners (IOs) to track progress, gather updates, manage risks and dependencies, and help keep projects moving forward.

    This person will provide both portfolio-level support and hands-on project coordination.
    They should be comfortable working at a detailed level, maintaining project documentation, preparing status updates, and following up on action items.
    When needed, the Assistant Program Manager may also be assigned as the Project Manager for specific initiatives and partner directly with the Initiative Owner to help plan and deliver the project.

    Success in this role requires strong organization, attention to detail, follow-through, and a willingness to help wherever needed.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support governance and tracking for approximately 90 business and IT initiatives.
    • Work directly with Initiative Owners to collect updates, monitor progress, and identify risks or issues.
    • Maintain project schedules, action items, risks, dependencies, and status reporting.
    • Prepare portfolio dashboards, leadership updates, meeting materials, and project documentation.
    • Facilitate project and program meetings and ensure follow-up actions are completed.
    • Help drive accountability and keep projects on track to meet key milestones.
    • Identify and escalate risks, issues, and schedule concerns.
    • Support continuous improvement of project management processes and reporting.
    • Serve as Project Manager for assigned initiatives when needed, partnering with the Initiative Owner to plan, execute, and deliver the project.

    Qualifications & Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
    • 3+ years of project or program management experience.
    • Knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile project delivery methodologies.
    • Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills.
    • Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
    • Experience creating project plans, status reports, meeting notes, risk logs, and executive presentations.
    • Proficiency with:
    o Microsoft Excel
    o PowerPoint
    o Word
    o Azure DevOps (ADO)
    o Smartsheet
    o Microsoft Teams
    • Ability to work effectively with both business and IT teams.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • CAPM, PMP, CSM or similar project management certification.
    • Experience supporting a PMO, project portfolio, or large business transformation program.
    • Experience working across both business and technology initiatives.
