Essential functions (job duties):
The Department of Biochemistry, Microbiology & Immunology at Wayne State University School of Medicine is searching for an outstanding virologist for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position.
All qualified candidates in the field of virology will be considered, the search is targeting researchers studying fundamental and applied problems in virology associated with human disease.
Candidates will be expected to establish a high-impact, extramurally funded research program and to participate in graduate and medical virology teaching. A competitive laboratory start-up package will be provided.
