    General Description/Primary Purpose:

    The School of Computing is seeking a 9-month, tenure- earning, Assistant Professor, in the School of Computing. Position responsibilities include teaching two courses per semester in fall and spring, research, and service. Applicants with research interests in all areas of computing are encouraged to apply.

    Supervisor: This position reports to the Director of the School of Computing.

    Working Hours: Varies

    Supervision Exercised: This is not a supervisory role.

    Required Licensure: N/A

    Required Qualifications:

    • Awarded a Ph.D. degree (or will have been awarded a Ph.D. degree) in the field of computing from an accredited institution by the employment start date.

    Preferred Qualifications / Skills:

    • Demonstrated potential to be actively involved in service activities, including participation in governance in accordance with the vision and mission of the School, College and University
    • Demonstrate the potential for excellence in teaching and in research

    Anticipated Start Date: The position is expected to begin on August 2, 2027.
