- Provides direct patient care services in the outpatient setting at the Family Medicine- Transmountain clinic and other clinics, as assigned
- Provides patient care and supervision of residents on the family medicine inpatient service and participates in the faculty call schedule, as assigned
- Supervises residents in the outpatient clinic setting and participates in the overall teaching program for teaching and training of residents
- Supervises and teaches clerkship students in the outpatient clinic setting
- Teaches medical students throughout the medical school curriculum, as assigned
- Engages in advancement of scientific knowledge through research and/or scholarship
- Serves the academic community through participation in institutional governance, such as committee work and other administrative duties
- Contributes to the community through academically-related public service complementary to the institutional mission
- Demonstrates professionalism in accordance with the Paul L. Foster School of Medicine's Declaration of Faculty Professional Responsibility

- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in Family Medicine
- Licensed or eligible for an unrestricted medical license in the State of Texas
- Board certification in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine for the rank of Assistant Professor or higher
