    Description

    • \u00b7 Teach six courses per year, consistent with departmental need and candidate's training and interests. Courses may include sport sales, sport finance, sport facility and event management, sport marketing, and sport business courses applicable within the general education curriculum.
    • \u00b7 Contribute to student success and recruitment, engage in the general education program, advise students and student clubs, and incorporate experiential learning into coursework.
    • \u00b7 Help the department explore graduate opportunities in the field.
    • \u00b7 Terminal degree in sport management or a related field. PhD or EdD required (ABD considered).
    • \u00b7 Evidence of successful, innovative college-level teaching experience with the ability to utilize classroom technology.
    • \u00b7 Demonstrate on-going commitment to each individual student's needs for success.
    • \u00b7 Demonstrate the ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with colleagues to facilitate student experiential learning, research, and internship opportunities.
    • \u00b7 Willingness to participate in department activities, service to the college, and ability to work with faculty, staff, and students in a collegial and cooperative manner.
