The Management & Marketing Department is seeking a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Management with a concentration in Management Information Systems. We offer courses and experiential learning to students who want careers involving information systems, business analytics, technology management, and data-informed decision-making in private, public, and not-for-profit organizations. Through flexible programs, students complete coursework in either in-person classes, real-time online courses at a scheduled time, or autonomously. Essential Duties
The Department of Management and Marketing invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position teaching an array of Management Information Systems courses, including fundamentals of information systems, business analytics, data visualization, database management, AI and other current topics related to information systems and emerging technologies. Ideal candidates are willing to grow with our evolving program and have a commitment to excellence in teaching, advising, and student engagement. The successful candidate may occasionally teach a variety of Management courses.
Responsibilities of the position include teaching upper-level and lower-level courses, with the opportunity to teach Honors and graduate courses, both online and traditional face-to-face, for our University's diverse student population using a variety of appropriate and engaging teaching methods.
Department faculty members are expected to participate in advising students on academic curricula; maintain regularly scheduled office hours for student consultation and engagement; serve on faculty committees; participate in faculty meetings; participate in the development of departmental curricula; and adhere to all institutional policies.
Required Qualifications
Ph.D. or DBA in Management Information Systems, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a directly related field from a regionally accredited university by September 1, 2027, is required.
Experience effectively presenting information systems, business analytics, or technology-related concepts, for example through teaching courses, mentoring, professional presentations, or training.
Related professional work experience.

Salary is commensurate with experience in accordance with the Appendix O of the MSCA contract. A reasonable starting salary range to expect for a new faculty member appointed at the rank of Assistant Professor is $75,000 to $85,000.
