Kansas City University College of Dental Medicine is seeking a full-time general dentist to serve as Core Simulation Faculty at its Joplin, Missouri campus. This role focuses on pre-clinical education within the simulation laboratory, where faculty guide students in developing foundational clinical skills, critical thinking, and professional competencies while fostering a collaborative and supportive learning environment grounded in high academic and clinical standards.
Core Simulation Faculty are responsible for delivering didactic content, supervising simulation and standardized patient care experiences, and assessing student performance through practical examinations and other evaluative methods. The role includes providing timely feedback, grading competencies, and ensuring students are prepared to transition into direct patient care.
The College is committed to expanding access to oral healthcare across a rural, underserved four-state region. The successful candidate is expected to be able to provide didactic and clinical education of pre-doctoral dental students in the simulation laboratory.
