Position Summary: The Department of Biology invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Biology with a focus on Human Anatomy & Physiology. The successful candidate will contribute to both undergraduate and graduate programs through teaching, research, and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in biology, including human anatomy & physiology and medical terminology.
- Utilize Anatomage Table in training students for medical and other professional schools
- Develop and deliver course content in alignment with program curricula.
- Advise and mentor students.
- Maintain active scholarship and pursue external funding.
- Participate in departmental, university, and community service.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Biological Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Cell Biology, Public Health with significant training in previously mentioned areas.
- Demonstrated teaching, research, and service experience appropriate for Assistant Professor rank.
- Commitment to student success and scholarly development.
Salary: Salary and Rank are commensurate with qualifications.
