ABOUT THIS POSITION
Summary:
The Davis School of Business at Colorado Mesa University is seeking candidates for the rank of Assistant Professor of Accounting with their primary focus in high-quality instruction and curricular innovation. The position is full-time, tenure-track starting January 2027 (preferred) or August 2027.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other related duties may be assigned.
Candidates may come from diverse backgrounds, with a range of experiences, achievements, and leadership roles, either within or outside academia. Candidates should have significant industry, business, or corporate experience relevant to accounting.
As a member of the Davis School of Business, you will be expected to teach four classes per semester in a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses such as Principles of Financial and/or Managerial Accounting, Data Analytics for Accounting, Fraud and Forensic Accounting, and Managerial Accounting (graduate).
Salary:
