SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY ASSISTANT PROFESSOR DIVISION OF COMMUNICATION SCIENCES AND DISORDERS SCHOOL OF MEDICINE West Virginia University School of Medicine - Health Professions located in Morgantown WV is seeking a full-time non-tenure track 12-month Assistant Professor Department of Human Performance Division of Communication Sciences and Disorders to contribute to a well-established program with a tradition of excellence in teaching researchscholarship and service. This faculty member will contribute to the mission of WVU and the program in Communication Sciences and Disorders housed within the School of Medicine.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality clinical services in the WVU Speech Language and Hearing Clinic to diverse population with primary expertise related to acquired communication disorders cognition acquired speech and language andor voice disorders. In addition to service provision the successful candidate will train students for the delivery of speech-language pathology services. Active engagement in Division University and professional service activities is also expected including participation in Division and committee meetings as well as recruitment and review of applicants to the masters in speech-language pathology programs.
Responsibilities and Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria for consideration:
• Master of Science • Arts in Speech Language Pathology • West Virginia Speech-Language Pathology license or eligible for a West Virginia Speech-Language Pathology license • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence • Preference for those with previous experience in clinical supervision
