Housed in the Department of Psychology, the Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology is designed to provide multicultural, evidence-based student-centered training in counseling psychology with a specialization in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. The program has two optional concentration areas:
This tenure-track position is responsible for teaching courses in Addictions Counseling, developing courses in the person's area of expertise, and teaching other undergraduate & graduate courses as needed. Scholarly activities will include conducting research in the person's area of expertise, disseminating the research findings in publication outlets that advances the department's reputation, and actively competing for grants to support one's scholarship. Beyond teaching and research, the assistant professor is responsible for mentoring and advising students, supporting student-led research initiatives, and providing service to the department, institution, profession, and community.
Duties Primary teaching duties are in the MA Program in Counseling Psychology (Specialization: Clinical Mental Health Counseling), Department of Psychology.
