    Description

    The Department of Biochemistry at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center invites applications from candidates for a tenure-track faculty position in organic chemistry at the rank of Assistant Professor.

    The department is strongly research-focused with major programs in synthetic chemistry, chemical biology, and drug discovery. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. or equivalent and be engaged in innovative research within organic chemistry, including synthesis, chemical biology, and computational studies.

    Job duties: Conduct an independent, externally funded research program in biochemistry, molecular biology, or related disciplines. Mentor graduate trainees, collaborate with faculty, participate in graduate-level teaching, and contribute to departmental service.
