    Job Summary/Basic Functions

    The LSU Health Sciences Center Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible (or equivalent) OBGYN for a faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor (non-tenure, clinical track) for a position located in Baton Rouge, LA. Primary responsibilities include direct patient care and resident supervision in the ambulatory clinics, operating room, Labor and Delivery and the Assessment Center. In addition, a commitment to teaching residents and medical students is required. Scholarly activity involving clinical research, quality improvement projects, and other publications are strongly encouraged and expected. Woman's Hospital was one of the first women's specialty hospitals in the nation and is currently one of the largest in the United States providing women support and state-of-the-art medical services. Responsibilities will include clinical activity, research and medical education. He/she must be board certified/board eligible (or equivalent) in Obstetrics and Gynecology and licensed to practice medicine in Louisiana before hire date.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Required Education: MD or equivalent

    Certifications or Licenses Required: Board Eligible/Board Certified (or equivalent) in ObGyn; licensed to practice medicine in Louisiana and credentialed with all required entities before hire
