    Job Summary/Basic Functions

    The Department of Urology at LSU Health, School of Medicine in New Orleans is seeking applicants for an academic faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor (non-tenure, clinical track).

    Candidates must be BC/BE (or equivalent) in Urology, licensed to practice medicine in Louisiana before hire, preferably with expertise in general urology, male health and or robotic surgery. Multiple opportunities for robotic and advanced prosthetic surgeries are available across our system. Responsibilities include patient care as well as participation in the teaching of residents and students, practice management and clinical research.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Required Education: MD or equivalent

    Required Field of Study: Urology

    Certifications or Licenses Required: BC/BE (or equivalent) in Urology; Licensed to practice medicine in Louisiana and credentialed with all required entities before hire

    Type of experience required to perform the job: Expertise in general urology, male health and or robotic surgery
