The University of Utah, Department of Dermatology, seeks an outstanding allergy/immunology physician, clinical track to join a five-allergist, >40 dermatologist practice. Applicant must be board certified in either Internal Medicine or Pediatrics. Applicant must also be board certified in Allergy/Immunology. We have developed a full-service outpatient A/I clinic, including spirometry, skin testing, sinus endoscopy, immunotherapy and drug desensitization. Our clinic makes the University of Utah the first academic center in the nation to offer oral immunotherapy for food allergy outside of the research setting. We are involved in clinical trials and NIH funded research, including programs for asthmatic children on the Navajo Nation and development of novel methods of detection for EoE. Two to three medical assistants per MD allows tremendous clinical efficiency. Supportive, well-developed dermatology infrastructure allows opportunity for innovation, superb patient-centered service, research, and growth.

The ideal candidate will have trained at a leading A/I institution and come with outstanding references. Comfort seeing children and adults is preferred. Outstanding clinical care and service is a must. Clinics will be located primarily at Farmington Health Center.
