The Assistant Production Coordinator supports daily manufacturing operations by helping lead production teams, coordinating workflow, and ensuring quality, safety, and productivity standards are met. This role is ideal for someone with manufacturing experience who is ready to grow into a leadership position and develop the skills needed to advance into a Production Coordinator role.
Assist with coordinating daily production operations to meet customer deadlines and production goals
Help establish production schedules and ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and on time
Train, coach, and mentor Production Team Leaders and Production Workers to support performance and growth
Monitor production quality, productivity, and workflow while identifying opportunities for improvement
Maintain accurate production, shipping, receiving, and quality records using electronic systems
Perform time studies and assist with developing production processes and work instructions
Communicate production priorities, job specifications, and workflow updates with team members
Help maintain workplace safety, quality standards, and facility certifications
Troubleshoot production challenges and assist the Production Coordinator with daily operations
Serve as backup to the Production Coordinator as needed
Positive leader who enjoys coaching and developing others
Strong communication and organizational skills

Collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Committed to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
Preferred:
One to two years of leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience
Experience with Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, and Outlook
Experience with manufacturing documentation, quality systems, or production planning
Required:
High school diploma or GED
Two to three years of manufacturing, packaging, or production experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to train, coach, and evaluate team members
Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
Ability to learn production equipment troubleshooting and production systems
Dependable attendance and commitment to maintaining production standards
Starting pay of $17.50/hour
Monday–Friday schedule, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
No weekends
