We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused individual to join our team as an Assistant Produce Manager. This position supports the daily operations of both the Produce and Floral departments and requires strong attention to detail, organization, teamwork, and commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Essential Responsibilities
- Assist with the daily operation and supervision of the Produce and Floral departments.
- Maintain high standards for product quality, freshness, presentation, and proper rotation.
- Create and maintain attractive, well-stocked, and appealing produce and floral displays.
- Assist customers with product selection and provide friendly, professional service.
- Assist with floral arrangements, merchandising, ordering, and department presentation as needed.
- Monitor inventory and assist with ordering, receiving, stocking, and product rotation.
- Follow all applicable food safety, sanitation, company, and regulatory requirements.
- Complete required administrative duties, records, paperwork, and other business requirements accurately and timely.
- Assist with training, directing, and supporting department associates.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned that are consistent with the position.

Qualifications
The successful candidate should demonstrate:
- Culling perishable product and dated items
- Food prep
- Restocking up to 50lbs cases of product
- Supervising production team
- Tracking pricing and sales
- Maintaining receiving records
- Maintaining and ordering perishable inventory
- Merchandising perishable stock
- Conferring with customers for effective deliverables
- Work with local vendors/farmers
- Dependability and a strong work ethic.
- Excellent customer-service and communication skills.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow established procedures and requirements.
- The ability to learn and perform the responsibilities of both the Produce and Floral departments.
