Ducklings Early Learning Center is looking for a warm, energetic, and passionate Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our team in West Chester, PA! Responsibilities:- Assist lead teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities for toddlers
- Support a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
- Supervise and engage toddlers during play, meals, and daily routines
- Foster social-emotional development through positive guidance and interaction
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding daily progress
- Maintain a clean, organized, and child-safe classroom
- Assist with diapering, potty training, and other personal care needs
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent required; Early Childhood Education coursework preferred
- Prior experience working with toddlers or young children in a childcare setting
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
- Ability to obtain required clearances (PA Child Abuse, Criminal, FBI)
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic demeanor with young children
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
