At a high level, they're known for being a relationship-driven builder with a hands-on approach, working closely with clients from early concept through completion to manage cost, schedule, and overall project execution.Job DescriptionSupport the preconstruction team in budgeting, estimating, and proposal development across multiple projectsAssist in preparing detailed cost estimates, quantity takeoffs, and bid packagesCoordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to gather pricing and project informationHelp analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to identify scope gaps or risksSolicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids to ensure competitive and accurate pricingMaintain and update cost databases, historical pricing, and project benchmarksParticipate in value engineering efforts to optimize cost, schedule, and constructabilityAssist in preparing client presentations, proposals, and conceptual budgetsSupport project handoff to operations by ensuring all preconstruction documentation is complete and accurateMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.Experience in preconstruction, estimating, project engineering, project management, or design-build project delivery.Understanding of commercial construction means, methods, materials, and project delivery processes.Experience developing conceptual budgets and detailed estimates.Ability to review drawings, specifications, subcontractor proposals, and project schedules.Strong communication, facilitation, organization, and relationship-building skills.Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Office Suite, and construction estimating software.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.What's on OfferCompetitive base salary ranging between $80,000-$100,000Comprehensive health, dental, vision insurance401(k) with company matchGenerous paid time offProfessional development opportunities
