What you will do…
- Acts as assistant to the Park Manager overseeing park operations in their absence
- Recommend, oversee, and attend park events throughout the year
- Act as liaison between ODNR Parks Watercraft and special interest groups
- Acts as parks safety coordinator
- Supervise personnel both permanent and seasonal/intermittent positions
- Assist in the mission to provide exceptional outdoor recreation and boating opportunities by balancing customer service, education, protection and conservation of Ohio's state parks and waterway
- Starting hourly pay of $27.73/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 4.5 years of service, with an end salary of $34.35/hr.

Completion of associate core program in natural resources management, parks & recreation management, facility management, hospitality management, business or public administration; 6 mos. trg. or exp. in supervisory &/or management principles/techniques; valid driver's license.
- Or 18 mos. trg. or exp. in natural resources management, parks & recreation management, facility management, hospitality management, business or public administration or related operational area of parks (multiple as defined by approved position description); 6 mos. trg. or exp. in supervisory &/or management principles/techniques; valid driver's license.
- Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
