Assistant or Associate Professor of International Studies (Tenure Track) About Erskine College At the heart of Erskine College is its Christian identity. Description Due to program growth, Erskine College invites applications for a full-time, tenure -track Assistant or Associate Professor in International Studies or a closely related field (such as International Relations, Political Science, Economics, History, or Legal Studies ). Preference will be given to candidates with interdisciplinary experience and candidates able to teach a broad range of globally themed courses, such as international law and/or the global economy. A commitment to pedagogical innovation and experiential learning (e.g., simulations, study abroad, internships, moot court) is desired. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in International Studies , International Relations, or a related field or professional degree . Excellent communication skills and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching are required . Qualifications • Ph.D. in International Studies, International Relations, Law, Economics, Political Science, or a closely related field. • Evidence of effective undergraduate teaching and/or public communication skills . • Ability to teach graduate -level coursework. • Demonstrated experience in international law and/or i nternational economics .
