SCPS is hiring a part-time teaching professor at the Assistant or Associate rank at .5 to .75 FTE depending on the candidate and program need, to teach and help design courses in data-informed decision-making across its graduate and undergraduate certificate programs and the new Master of Change Management degree (MCM).
This is a non-tenure track, general faculty position. This is a remote position, with preference for individuals able to attend occasional in-person meetings and events held in or near Charlottesville, Virginia.
An early focus for this role is designing and teaching PSCM 6040: Data-Driven Decision Making for Change, a core course in the MCM degree, planned for its first offering in summer 2027. Beyond that course, this position may teach existing and new offerings connected to SCPS's broader certificate portfolio, and may help build new courses as need and demand emerge.
We're especially interested in candidates who have applied or designed data-informed decision-making tools within change management or project management work, rather than data or analytics experience on its own. Relevant learning outcomes relate to supporting manager and leader decision-making as opposed to technical system development.
