The Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder is hiring one tenure-track, Assistant or Associate Professor position in Marketing for Fall 2027. We are seeking candidates at the advanced assistant professor or early-stage associate professor level (i.e., without tenure or with tenure recently granted). We are primarily seeking a researcher with expertise in empirical quantitative methods. While not required, we have a particular interest in candidates with research expertise in marketing applications of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). Candidates with research expertise in all substantive areas of marketing will be considered.

The approved line for this position is for an Assistant or Associate Professor, with the following salary ranges:

  • Assistant Professor: $205,000-$233,000
  • Associate Professor: $235,000-$255,000
  • Additional benefits include allowances for relocation expenses, a FDA (faculty discretionary account) and guaranteed summer research support.

  • Hold a PhD from an accredited institution in Marketing or a related field.
  • Have demonstrated superior accomplishments in their current appointments, including scholarly research, teaching ability, and effective interaction with faculty colleagues, students and external constituents.
  • Have an established and growing record of research productivity and professional visibility, with a clear trajectory toward continued impact in the field.
  • Demonstrate a substantially quantitative, empirical modeling research orientation to study marketing phenomena, using methods drawn from the fields of economics, statistics +/or computer science.
