Description
The Master's in Christian Counseling program is seeking full-time faculty to teach at the graduate level. The program equips students for licensure in the state of South Carolina while approaching counseling from a Christian worldview.
Responsibilities • Average 3 - 3 course load in fall and spring semesters and 1 - 2 course load in summer semester • Course(s) taught will depend on expertise but may include: • Counseling and Helping Relationships • Diagnostics of Psychopathology and Treatment Planning • Group Therapies • Addictions • Family Systems • Child and Adolescent Psychopathology • Supervision of practicums and internships • Academic and career advising
Qualifications • Ability to begin teaching August 2026 • A Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision • Licensed or eligible for licensure in South Carolina as a Licensed Professional Counselor • A personal relationship with Jesus Christ • Ability to teach courses from a Christian worldview • Ability to teach in both face-to-face and online environments • Preferably a strong background in teaching • Willingness to offer spiritual support to students
