Job Summary:We are seeking a motivated and organized Assistant Operations Manager to support the day-to-day operations of The Alaska Club West. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring high standards of facility cleanliness and safety, managing member experience, and supporting the Operations Manager and General Manager in executing business goals. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and passionate about health and wellness. Key Responsibilities:Assist in managing daily operations, including front desk, maintenance, and class schedulesSupport staff scheduling, training, and performance managementMonitor member satisfaction and respond to concerns or inquiriesEnsure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulationsHelp implement marketing and member retention strategiesOversee inventory and supplies for smooth facility functioningAct as point-of-contact in absence of the Operations Manager Qualifications:Previous experience in a fitness, hospitality, or customer service roleStrong leadership and communication skillsAbility to multitask and solve problems in a fast-paced environmentLG/CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain)Passion for fitness and wellness
