Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, responsibility and accountability for nursing staff and care within our transitional care unit. Is responsible for development and management of personnel, supplies, equipment and for maintenance of a safe environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, responsibility and accountability for nursing staff and care within our transitional care unit. 
• Oversees patient care management and ensures that professional nursing is practiced in accordance with the established standards, policies and procedures of the transitional care unit and the hospital.
• Is responsible for development and management of personnel, supplies, equipment and for maintenance of a safe environment.

Prerequisites:

• Current BSN and RN Massachusetts Licensure
• 3-5 years SNF nursing experience strongly preferred
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Must have excellent communication and organizational skills
• BLS/ACLS required
