Assistant Nursing Director - Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital TCU

We are looking for an experienced RN with SNF supervisory experience to work under our Chief Nursing Officer and manage the day to day on our Transitional Care Unit. Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, responsibility and accountability for nursing staff and care within our transitional care unit.

Assistant Nursing Director (RN) - 20 Bed TCU
Full-Time, 40 hours/week  Monday-Friday
Pay:  $104,000-$115,000 annually
Sign-On Bonus:  $10,000

We are looking for an experienced RN with SNF supervisory experience to work under our Chief Nursing Officer and manage the day to day on our Transitional Care Unit.  

Primary Responsibilities:

• Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, responsibility and accountability for nursing staff and care within our transitional care unit. 
• Oversees patient care management and ensures that professional nursing is practiced in accordance with the established standards, policies and procedures of the transitional care unit and the hospital.
• Is responsible for development and management of personnel, supplies, equipment and for maintenance of a safe environment.

Prerequisites:

• Current BSN and RN Massachusetts Licensure
• 3-5 years SNF nursing experience strongly preferred
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience strongly preferred
• Must have excellent communication and organizational skills
• BLS/ACLS required
