    BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager - Patient Care Leader to join our outstanding and compassionate Labor and Delivery Team!

    Registered Nurse Position Details:

    • Facility: BayCare Health System, Labor & Delivery Unit - WHW
    • Location: Winter Haven Women's Hospital
    • Status: Full Time, Exempt: Yes
    • Shift Hours: 1:00PM - 11:00PM, 4/ 10 hour shifts
    • Weekend Work: Occasional
    • On Call: Yes

    The Assistant Nurse Manager - Patient Care Leader Responsibilities:

    The Assistant Nurse Manager - Patient Care Leader is proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective management skills. Supports the Nurse Manager in a supervisory capacity while managing team member and patient care issues, ongoing team member performance appraisal and the hiring, counseling and terminating process. Proficient in the delivery of complex nursing care and continuously promotes quality care assuming a brad level of accountability for outcomes. Provides 24 hour/ 7 day accountability care for assigned patients.

    Required Certification/Licensures:

    • Registered Nurse license
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

    Required Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Nursing- Preferred

    Required Experience:

    • Required minimum 2 years of RN acute care experience
    • Must have a strong RN background in Labor & Delivery
    • Preferred minimum 1 year of Leadership experience
    • Flexibility and willingness to help out on the unit as needed
