JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in managing daily Operating Room operations and workflows
- Coordinate staffing assignments and ensure appropriate shift coverage
- Support patient flow and operational efficiency across surgical services
- Serve as a clinical resource for Operating Room staff and interdisciplinary teams
- Assist with staff coaching, mentoring, and performance management
- Promote employee engagement, retention, and professional development
- Help maintain departmental regulatory and accreditation readiness
- Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
- Monitor departmental performance metrics and assist with process improvement efforts
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nursing leadership, and support services

REQUIREMENTS Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Current BLS Certification
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience
- Minimum 1 year of leadership experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead and support clinical teams
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional perioperative certifications
- Experience in a high-volume surgical environment
- Experience with performance improvement initiatives
- Previous charge nurse, team lead, or supervisory experience
