Description

Position Summary: The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) is a professional Registered Nurse who reports to the unit director/manager. The ANM utilizes the nursing process to manage clinical and operational activities during the assigned shift, supporting the director/manager in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating unit services. The ANM also provides managerial presence and leadership across all shifts.
Sign-On Bonus: $8,000 sign-on bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment, Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee operations of 27 operating rooms.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to enhance patient care and surgical outcomes.
  • Implement and maintain best practices in surgical procedures and patient safety.
  • Foster a positive, supportive team environment.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited School of Nursing (BS or BSN).
  • Minimum of 3 years of Operating Room RN experience in an acute care hospital setting.
  • Current Oregon Registered Nurse License prior to start date.
  • National Provider BLS certification at hire (American Heart Association).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Recent clinical experience in an acute care hospital.
  • Charge Nurse or Relief Charge Nurse experience.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Shared Governance experience.
