• Schedule: Flexible, Evening/Night Shift, Full-time
• Department: Shared ANM over multiple units, including Neuro Medicine and Neuro Surgical
• Location: New Hanover Regional Medical Center

What We're Looking For:

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required.  BSN, preferred.  Graduate Degree, preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience, preferred.  Prior demonstrated nursing leadership, preferred.
• Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required. Unit/Dept Specific Required Certifications.
• Additional Skills Required: Successful completion of generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to successfully complete Leader Education & Training. 

What You'll Do:

 

• Serve as a leader on the units as well as supporting all clinical staff.

• Assist with scheduling, educational trainings, coachings, creating new initiatives, etc.

• Support the Manager and other leadership personnel to foster unit prosperity.

• Work closely with all staff to improve skills and support of patients. 

• Provide collaborative work with interpersonal teams and communicate effectively across all team members. 
• Assist with any audits within the units.
• Serve as a liaison and supportive leader for families served on the units.
