Experience: Minimum of two years of clinical RN experience, preferred. Prior demonstrated nursing leadership, preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required. Unit/Dept Specific Required Certifications.
Additional Skills Required: Successful completion of generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to successfully complete Leader Education & Training.
What You'll Do:
Serve as a leader on the units as well as supporting all clinical staff.
Assist with scheduling, educational trainings, coachings, creating new initiatives, etc.
Support the Manager and other leadership personnel to foster unit prosperity.
Work closely with all staff to improve skills and support of patients.
Provide collaborative work with interpersonal teams and communicate effectively across all team members.
Assist with any audits within the units.
Serve as a liaison and supportive leader for families served on the units.
