Smoothie King, a leader in the food and beverage industry, is seeking an Assistant Manager to contribute to their success by assisting the General Manager in leading a team to create and maintain an exceptional Guest Experience. As an Assistant Manager, you will have the opportunity to inspire people to live a healthy and active lifestyle while upholding brand standards and values.
Overview:
- Assist the General Manager in hiring, developing, and leading the team to provide a great guest experience and fulfill the mission of inspiring a healthy lifestyle.
- Utilize operational tools such as Profit and Loss Statement, Daily Business Review, Cash & Deposit Log, and Data Central scheduling and inventory management tools to achieve operational excellence.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to develop local store marketing plans and initiate community outreach through marketing and special events.
- Review store environment and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage cash activities for the store and ensure compliance with food safety guidelines.
- Champion and embody the culture, mission, and core values of Smoothie King.
- Maintain store cleanliness and upkeep, including monthly inspections and coordinating equipment or facility updates.
- Drive implementation of company programs and communicate marketing strategies and promotions to the team.
Qualifications:
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a shift lead in a restaurant or similar type of retail customer service business.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to perform basic POS and computer functions.
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers, team members, and the community.
- Flexibility to work a variety of days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- ServSafe Certification (paid training available).
