Job Summary:

The Sterile Processing Assistant Manager will be responsible for the management of the Sterile Processing Department, to include the day-to-day activities related to the decontamination, processing, sterilization, of sterile supplies to the Downtown OR. The Assistant Manager will develop a quality and safety improvement plan, work process standards, and performance goals to ensure optimal service delivery and patient care. Other responsibilities include staffing, training, performance management, and compliance.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree and 2 years Sterile Processing experience OR Associates Degree and 4 years Sterile Processing experience required. Must have 2 years supervisory or leadership experience and be a Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST). Candidates without Registered Central Service Technician Certification must obtain within 18 months of appointment and will be on a temporary appointment until certification is received. Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must be organized, have excellent time management skills, and be computer proficient.

Mon-Fri 11:00am - 7:30pm weekends and holidays rotating based on department need
