We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
- Support food management practices to ensure quality and consistency in food production.
- Develop and implement training programs for staff to enhance their skills and improve service delivery.
- Handle cash management duties, including cash handling and reconciliation at the end of shifts.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and timely service.
- Participate in interviewing potential candidates and assist in the hiring process.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for order processing and reporting.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is required.
- Proven skills in inventory control and food management practices.
- Experience in training development and staff supervision is preferred.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures is essential.
- Knowledge of food production processes within a restaurant setting is advantageous.
- Experience using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
