Assistant Manager

As an Assistant Manager at Nicoletto’s, you’ll work alongside the General Manager to keep daily operations running smoothly and help our crew deliver food and service we’re proud of. Nicoletto's Pasta Co. is a Nashville, TN-based company that specializes in fresh pasta, bronze-cut dried pasta and fast-casual Nicoletto's Italian Kitchen restaurants.

Available at all Nicoletto’s locations—including East Nashville, Mount Juliet, and Donelson—and with our trailer and events staff.

What You’ll Do

• Support the General Manager with daily operations and take the lead on assigned shifts.
• Coach and train teammates, communicate clear expectations, and recognize a job well done.
• Help coordinate staffing, breaks, and shift assignments so service stays organized.
• Oversee opening and closing, cash handling, and clear handoffs between shifts.
• Help monitor inventory, stock levels, and prep needs, and communicate shortages before they affect service.
• Keep food quality, cleanliness, and safety standards consistent.
• Welcome guests, handle concerns with care, and support the team wherever service needs a hand.
• Share operational issues and team needs with the General Manager, and follow through on solutions.

What You Bring

• Restaurant experience and experience leading or coaching a team.
• A friendly, approachable style and the confidence to hold yourself and others accountable.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and clear communication.
• The ability to stay calm, make sound decisions, and keep guests and teammates supported during a rush.
• Dependability, initiative, and an interest in growing with Nicoletto’s.

Schedule

This is a full-time position. Availability for opening and closing shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays is important.
