Job Description
As an Assistant Store Manager, you are a champion of the brand, leading the team to drive exceptional results. You will play a crucial role in supporting the General Manager with day-to-day operations, ensuring store goals are met, and fostering a positive, customer-centric work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Excellence: Support the General Manager in managing daily operations, inventory, and maintaining store standards to ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are met.
- Sales & Service: Act as a role model for the team by driving sales generation, implementing merchandising strategies, and providing a personalized shopping experience.
- Team Leadership: Motivate and coach staff to enhance their skills, anticipate hiring needs, and maintain a productive, inclusive work environment.
- Business Growth: Thrive in a changing retail environment by generating ideas to evolve the business and maintaining accountability for store outcomes.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2-4 years of retail sales experience, with management experience preferred.
- Skills: Demonstrated leadership in meeting sales/profit goals, strong training abilities, and proficiency in visual merchandising.
- Physical & Availability: Ability to bend, lift, and move up to 40 pounds; must be available for nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
