Assistant Manager

Operations & Membership Sales | Full-Time | $21–$25/hour + Commission + Monthly Bonus
Ready to lead a team and grow with us? Seal Shine Express Car Wash in Garden Grove is
growing, and we're looking for an Assistant Manager to help run the floor and lead the crew. You'll
be second-in-command at the site — setting the pace at the pay station, coaching the team on
membership sales, and keeping the wash running clean, safe, and fast. If you like being on the floor,
leading by example, and getting paid for hitting numbers, this one's for you.
What You'll Do
• Lead the floor. Set the tone for the shift — open and close the site, direct the crew, and keep
the line moving.
• Coach the team on sales. Train, motivate, and support Sales Associates so the whole crew
hits its membership goals.
• Own the numbers. Drive our membership capture rate, track daily performance, and help the
site win every month.
• Run the pay station. Jump in wherever needed — greet guests, process transactions, and sell
memberships yourself.
• Handle the moments that matter. Step in on guest concerns, resolve issues professionally,
and escalate when needed.
• Keep the site sharp. Support daily equipment checks, cleanliness standards, and safety
procedures across the wash.
• Support the Site Manager. Help with scheduling, staff coverage, inventory, and daily reporting.
Who We're Looking For

• Prior supervisory or team lead experience — car wash, retail, restaurant, or hospitality all
count.
• Reliable and hands-on — you show up, bring the energy, and never say "that's not my job."
• Calm under pressure — you handle a busy line and a tough guest without losing your cool.
• Open availability — including weekends, which are our busiest days.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
What You'll Earn
Base pay. $21.00 – $25.00 per hour, depending on your car wash and sales experience. Paid bi-
weekly on Fridays. Hourly / non-exempt.
Membership commission. You earn the same membership sales commission as the rest of the
crew, on top of your hourly wage:
$1.00 for each eligible Basic/ Entry - Level membership sold.
$3.00 for each eligible Mid - Tier / Standard membership sold.
$5.00 for each eligible Premium / Top - Tier membership sold.
Monthly performance bonus. Earn up to an additional $300 per month based on the site's membership capture rate.
