We are a busy, high-volume pizzeria known for our quality food, fast service, and exceptional customer experience. We're looking for a dedicated, experienced, and hands-on Assistant Manager to help lead our team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment.
Position Summary:
The Assistant Manager will support the General Manager in running all aspects of the restaurant, with a focus on operational excellence, team leadership, customer satisfaction, and adherence to company standards. This is a dynamic role that requires a strong leader who can thrive under pressure while maintaining a positive and productive atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead staff during shifts to ensure efficiency and consistency in food preparation, service, and cleanliness.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve guest issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards (must be ServeSafe certified).
- Enforce compliance with company policies, procedures, and product specifications.
- Assist in scheduling, training, and mentoring team members.
- Monitor inventory, manage waste, and assist with ordering supplies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Step into any role as needed to support the team and meet business demands.
- Opening and closing a store
- Fulfilling orders and providing consistently exceptional customer experiences
- Supervising and monitoring Team Members and Shift Leaders
- Daily inventory, labor, and food cost management
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience managing a pizzeria or similar fast-paced food service operation.
- Current ServeSafe Certification is required.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Outstanding customer service and conflict resolution abilities.
- Ability to follow procedures, recipes, and operational standards without deviation.
- Comfortable working in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and flexible with availability (nights, weekends, holidays).
