St. Mary's College of Maryland at Historic St. Mary's City is accepting resumes for the position of Assistant Manager, Dodge Performing Arts Center . The Assistant Manager assists in the oversight of all music and theater performance activities, conference and speaker series events, and all management operations for the Dodge Performing Arts Center (Dodge PAC), delivering outstanding customer service while showcasing St. Mary's College of Maryland.
The Assistant Manager coordinates the logistics of internal and external events occurring in the auditorium, recital hall, and lobby areas of the Dodge PAC. The Assistant Manager works collaboratively with the Director the Dodge PAC on all aspects related to the planning and execution of music, recital, and theatrical events and conference and meeting events in these venues. The Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting in the coordination and oversight of physical arrangements; liaising with appropriate campus or external representatives in order to coordinate services accurately and effectively when or where requested or required; ensuring events are in keeping with brand standards and executed in a timely, effective and high-quality manner; and supervising event operations staff, volunteers and interns. This responsibility helping liaise with local, national, and international artist management to ensure highest quality of production for an event. The salary range for this position is $51,000 to $58,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
