Space Spa Car Wash is a fast-growing, family-friendly express tunnel car wash brand proudly owned by DIB Automotive Group and co-located with Yes Auto Fix service centers. Our space-themed branding, unlimited wash memberships, and "quick in & out" customer experience set us apart in the Houston market.
We're looking for a hands-on Assistant Manager with real detailing experience — someone who leads the floor and does the work alongside the team.
Position Overview
The Assistant Manager / Detailer supports daily operations of the express tunnel and full-service detail side while personally performing high-quality detail work. This is a working leadership role for someone who takes pride in a finished vehicle and can hold a team to the same standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform interior and exterior detailing at a high standard
- Support daily car wash and detail operations
- Quality-check every vehicle before it goes back to the customer
- Drive unlimited membership sales and retention
- Ensure equipment functionality and site cleanliness
- Deliver fast, high-quality wash and detail experiences
- Monitor labor, chemicals, and supply usage
- Resolve customer concerns professionally
- Maintain safety standards and company policies
- Open and close the site as needed
Qualifications
- Hands-on auto detailing experience required
- Experience with polishers, extractors, and detailing chemicals
- Previous car wash or automotive leadership experience preferred
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Sales-driven mindset (membership growth is key)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong eye for detail and quality
- Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Weekend availability
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
